Teachers and Students – do you have a question or comment for the musicians in the video? If so, please email community@slso.org, be sure to include the name of the musician you want to contact or the title of the video.
The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) is proud to introduce the SLSO E-Symphony Series. This program includes educational and inter-active video presentations featuring members of the SLSO. Each video is designed for specific grade levels and focuses on different musical topics, instrument families, and cross curricular elements. Many of the videos concentrate on the connection between music and storytelling and feature a selected story book. All videos are accompanied with lesson plans and suggested activities (available for download) which are closely tied to the National and MAP Standards.
Videos can be viewed on computers containing Flash Player Version 9 and can be projected on a smart board or screen. For added convenience, each video is broken into concise chapters so that you can view the entire video or just a few chapters at a time.

Stay Tuned!
The SLSO will release additional video lessons every two months.
Can’t access the on-line videos?
If you are unable to view the videos from our web site, please contact the SLSO education department at community@slso.org to request a DVD or VHS version from the education library.
The SLSO E-Symphony Series was made possible in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The on-line program is not meant to replace the live experience of music education in the classroom and in the concert hall; it is meant to supplement your own music education programs and make the musicians of the SLSO more accessible throughout the St. Louis region and beyond.
