Katie Klich

Librarian

A native of the Chicagoland area, Katie Klich grew up playing piano, singing in chorus, and learning the many instruments of the wind ensemble. She is a graduate of both Boston University and New England Conservatory, receiving BM and MM degrees in oboe performance, along with a minor in chemistry.

During her graduate studies, Klich became seriously interested in orchestral librarianship and further apprenticed with the librarians of the Boston Symphony. Her career includes serving as a librarian with the Phoenix, Dallas, Utah, and Atlanta Symphonies, with her appointment in 2022 leading the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra library. As an active member of MOLA, Katie has presented sessions at annual conferences and is a member of the technology and publications committees.

Outside of the library, she enjoys hiking, jigsaw puzzles, and playing with her two cats.
