Doors open 75 minutes in advance of SLSO classical concerts and 60 minutes prior to special events. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. This will allow you time to find parking, visit a concession area, and find your seat. Once the concert begins, patrons will be seated at an appropriate break in the program. Please refer to the Late Seating Policy below for details.

• Prepaid parking in the SLSO lot is available for most concerts while supplies last.

• Donors will continue to receive parking and valet benefits according to giving levels.

Come as you are! You will see a wide variety of attire at SLSO events, and we want you to wear what you feel most comfortable in.

Police officers and security are present at all events at the Jack C. Taylor Music Center.

Patrons pass through a security screening upon entry. Bags larger than 14” x 14” x 17” may be inspected.

Weapons of any kind, including concealed firearms with a permit, are not allowed.

Our team is trained to handle a variety of situations. Ushers and staff will provide instructions in the event of an emergency. Exits are marked throughout the venue.

During severe weather events, ushers and staff will instruct audiences to shelter in place in the auditorium.

In the event of a concert cancellation, we will contact all ticket holders in advance to offer exchanges or refunds.

The Jack C. Taylor Music Center offers an array of concessions with a full bar and light snacks available at all performances. There several concession areas: one each in the Berges Family Foundation Lobby and the Wightman Foyer on the orchestra level; the Met Bar on the mezzanine; a mobile bar on the mezzanine; one on the Dress Circle Terrace; one in the Kemper Lounge; and one on the Middle Balcony Terrace.

Pre-concert Conversations, sponsored by Washington University Physicians, are free events providing insights to the concert program to all ticket holders beginning one hour prior to each classical concert. Program notes are also available online prior to each classical performance. Our podcast, Noted, offers a short introduction to each classical program, hosted by Samuel Hollister, SLSO Assistant Conductor.

The resale of SLSO tickets at a price higher than the original purchase price is grounds for forfeiture and cancellation of the ticket. Tickets obtained from sources other than the SLSO Box Office or slso.org may be counterfeit, lost, stolen, or otherwise fraudulently obtained, and if so, are void. Children are encouraged to attend SLSO performances. The recommended minimum for all classical concerts is 5 years of age, while children of all ages are encouraged to attend Specials, Concerts for Kids, Films, and Youth Orchestra concerts. All patrons age 2 and older must have a ticket. Infants and children under 2 years of age may be seated on the lap of an adult at no charge. • The 50th anniversary of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, marked with a range of choral-orchestral performances, culminating in a May 2 concert that celebrates this extraordinary ensemble of singers.
• A residency with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and jazz luminary Wynton Marsalis in his final season of touring with the acclaimed group, performing with the orchestra March 12-14 and at a solo concert on March 10.

Yes, we request a 25% non-refundable deposit within four weeks of your reservation. Deposits may be paid by check or debit/credit card and will be credited toward your total balance.

The remaining balance of your order is due four weeks prior to the concert date. Once the final payment has been received, your tickets may be mailed to you or held at the box office for pick-up prior to the performance. Please note: once final payment is applied to your order, all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Absolutely! Group orders can be adjusted until the time of final payment.

We encourage you to make your reservation as far in advance of the performance possible, in order to keep your group seated together.
