The SLSO Box Office is available to assist with ticket purchases Tuesday through Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm; Saturday, 2:00-5:00pm; and beginning two hours prior to concert time.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available for every performance. Tickets for accessible seating can be purchased by phone at 314-534-1700, online, and in person. 

The SLSO provides free companion seats for those patrons who would be unable to attend without their companion’s assistance. To request complimentary companion seating, please contact the Box Office at 314-534-1700. Limit one complimentary ticket per order.

Ushers are available to assist patrons using walkers, canes, and other mobility assistive devices by storing the devices in the rear of the hall during the performance and returning them to patrons at their seats at intermission and at the conclusion of the performance.

The new Powell Hall parking lot has 20 ADA spots near the new east entrance. Drop-off/pick-up at the main entrance is available via a forecourt accessible from Samuel Shepard Dr.

All public entrances are ADA compliant. ADA access to the concert hall is available on every level via elevators or a stair lift. ADA seating is located on every level except Upper Balcony.

Three elevators serve the public:

• One in Powell Hall near the Wightman Foyer serves the Mezzanine, Lower Balcony, and Mid Balcony.
• Two oversized elevators in the Berges Family Foundation Lobby serves the Dress Circle Boxes, Lower Balcony, and Mid Balcony.

Trained service dogs are welcome. We recommend aisle seating for patrons with service animals to allow sufficient room for them to sit or lay down. Please contact the Box Office at 314-534-1700 with any questions or concerns.

Assistive listening devices are available free of charge and can be checked out from the Guest Services desk with a valid photo ID. Each device has a headphone jack for either an induction loop accessory (for patrons with telecoil compatible hearing aids) or for headphones. Patrons are welcome to bring their own headphones or use the ones provided.

Interpretive services will be made available upon request with a minimum two-week notice. Please contact hospitality@slso.org or call 314-286-4120 for all ASL Interpreter requests.  Appropriate seating locations may be necessary.

Open Captions are provided for most films with live orchestra. Please contact hospitality@slso.org to inquire about open caption capability for the performance you plan to attend.

Large-print programs are available free of charge for classical concerts at the Guest Services desk.

Braille programs are available free of charge for select performances with a minimum two-week notice. Please contact hospitality@slso.org or call 314-286-4120 for all Braille requests.

If you or a member of your group have sensory sensitivities and need special accommodations (ear plugs, early entry/exit or reentry to the hall), please contact hospitality@slso.org in advance or notify the House Manager at the Guest Services desk on-site and we will be happy to help.

Powell Hall now features a viewing room for guests with sensory sensitivities. Located at the rear of the orchestra level, this room allows guests to see and hear the concert.

In partnership with Washington University Physicians, the SLSO has a volunteer physician on duty at all SLSO performances. If you need assistance, please alert the nearest usher or member of the SLSO staff.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, please follow the direction of our trained ushers, who will direct you out of and away from the building. If you require mobility assistance, specially trained ushers will assist you out of the building or to a safe waiting zone until emergency personnel arrive.
