New concert offerings

The SLSO announces two additions to the slate of 24/25 season concerts, including a concert fusing the music of Ludwig van Beethoven and Beyoncé and a collaboration with former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright.

NEWLY ANNOUNCED—Beethoven X Beyoncé (January 31, 2025)

Experience Steve Hackman’s thrilling new blend of pop/R&B’s queen and classical music’s king as Beyoncé’s iconic repertoire is seamlessly interwoven with Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony. The symphonic world’s most joyful celebration of dance becomes the backdrop to fifteen of Beyoncé’s chart-topping hits—including “Girls,” “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” “Sorry,” “Halo,” “Cuff It,” and “Texas Hold ‘Em”—in this innovative new musical fusion.

This concert was originally scheduled for June 23, 2024. Tickets for the original date will be honored for the new performance date.

NEWLY ANNOUNCED—Double Play featuring Adam Wainwright (February 22, 2025)

Celebrate two of St. Louis’ greatest loves—music and baseball—with your SLSO in this unique experience with St. Louis favorite, former All-Star St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright, as he performs songs from his new country album Hey Y’all.

While the SLSO continues the transformational expansion and renovation of its historic home at Powell Hall, the orchestra will perform throughout the St. Louis region, with programming that showcases the magical sound of the SLSO at locations including the Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Stifel Theatre in downtown St. Louis, the J. Scheidegger Center for Performing Arts at Lindenwood University, The Sheldon, the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, and The Pillsbury Theatre at Washington University’s 560 Music Center.
