SLSO ‘Friends of Music’ Memberships Share the Power of Music
By Iain Shaw
Launched in September 2025, Friends of Music is a community of supporters whose annual membership contributions help to sustain the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s vital community and education programs as well as the exceptional artistry of the institution’s programming. Each Friends of Music member helps to advance the SLSO’s mission of enriching lives through the power of music, fostering a vibrant and connected community.
“Joining the Friends of Music strengthens the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s ability to inspire, educate, and connect our community,” said Richard Kranes-Rutz, Associate Vice President of Philanthropy, Annual Fund.

Anyone can join this important group. By becoming a Friend of Music, receive access to a range of compelling privileges just for members. Benefits include special discounts, ticket offers, invitations to open rehearsals, and access to other special events.
With membership tiers starting at $75 for a full year of special musical moments, there are many ways to become a Friend of Music.
