IN UNISON Church Program
For more than 30 years, the IN UNISON church program, a beautiful partnership between the SLSO and 33 predominantly African-American churches throughout the St. Louis region, has engaged tens of thousands through music.

IN UNISON Academy
By providing scholarships and fellowship opportunities to young musicians of color pursuing a career in the music industry, the IN UNISON Academy gives budding musicians the resources to flourish in partnership with the SLSO and St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.

For more than a decade, SLSO musicians have performed for patrons who are unable to travel by providing free concerts at various locations throughout greater St. Louis including healthcare facilities, assisted living centers, and more.

Music Without Boundaries
Since 2005, the SLSO has welcomed immigrant and refugee populations to St. Louis through Music Without Boundaries. By providing diverse cultural resources and outreach, the program fosters a greater understanding of and deeper welcome to the diverse St. Louis region.

Peer to Peer
Middle and high school Black and Latinx music students from Gateway Music Outreach are paired with musicians from the SLSO and the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra for development opportunities.

College Connections
College Connections exposes middle and high school music students to higher education through a comprehensive visit at a partner college that includes an overview of SLSO community music programs, a campus tour, lunch, and a free SLSO chamber concert.

Free Community Concerts
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra offers dozens of performances each season throughout the St. Louis area in schools, houses of worship, healthcare facilities, and in public spaces.
