• Prepaid Parking Locations

  SLSO prepaid parking includes two lots: the Samuel Shepard Lot, located immediately east of the Jack C. Taylor Music Center, and the Delmar Lot, located one block north of the center. Entry to the Samuel Shepard Lot is from Samuel Shepard Dr. Entry to the Delmar Lot is from Delmar Blvd.

  Attendees to Friday Coffee Concerts may choose prepaid parking in the Samuel Shepard Lot or in the Fox Parking Garage, accessible from Grand Blvd. and Washington Blvd.

  All prepaid parking locations are staffed during events.

  

• Benefits for Subscribers & Donors

  Subscribers receive priority access to prepaid parking whenever new concerts are announced. Donors receive parking and valet benefits according to their giving levels.  

• Accessible Parking and Entry

  The Samuel Shepard Lot and the Fox Parking Garage offer ADA parking. In addition, a designated drop-off and pick-up area with a ramp is conveniently located by the music center’s north entrance at the corner of Grand and Delmar Blvds. • Shuttle Service

  Shuttle service is available from Plaza Frontenac for most classical concerts. Subscribers with curated series packages may purchase related shuttle packages. Subscribers with Compose Your Own packages and single ticket buyers may purchase individual shuttle tickets. Learn more.

• Rideshare

  Rideshares like Uber and Lyft offer another convenient way to attend concerts. A designated drop-off and pick-up area is conveniently located by the music center’s north entrance at the corner of Grand and Delmar Blvds.

• Public Transit

  MetroLink, Blue or Red Line – Grand Station
  MetroBus, 70 Grand Bus – Grand and Franklin stop
  MetroBus, 97 Delmar – Delmar and Grand stop

  The music center is 1.5 miles north of the Grand MetroLink Station, accessible by foot or the #70 Grand Bus North. Bus stops are located in front of the MetroLink station and the music center.

• Biking

  Bike racks are located in the Samuel Shepard Lot and along Delmar Blvd., immediately north of the building.

• Other Parking in Grand Center

  Event lots are located throughout the Grand Center Arts District. Four-hour metered street parking, operated by the City of St. Louis, is available near the music center. Parking kiosks on the street accept coins and credit cards. Metered parking is free daily after 7:00pm and on Sunday.

• Driving Directions

  Powell Hall at the Jack C. Taylor Music Center is located at 718 North Grand Blvd in the Grand Center Arts District.

  From I-64/40 (eastbound):
  Exit I-64/40 at Grand Blvd., turn right to go north on Grand Blvd. Powell Hall is on the right (east) side of the street approximately one mile north. Due to excessive traffic on Grand Blvd on concert nights, we suggest using alternative streets including Compton, Jefferson, and Vandeventer.

  From I-64/40 (westbound):
  Exit I-64 at exit 38A toward Forest Park Parkway. Turn right on Grand Blvd. Powell Hall is on the right (east) side of the street approximately one mile north.

  From I-44:
  Exit I-44 at Grand Blvd. and go north on Grand Blvd. Powell Hall is on the right (east) side of the street approximately two miles north. Due to excessive traffic on Grand Blvd on concert nights, we suggest using alternative streets including Compton, Jefferson and Vandeventer.

  From I-70:
  Exit I-70 at Grand Blvd., turn south on Grand Blvd. Powell Hall is on the left (east) side of the street approximately three miles south.
