Angel Ahn

Angel Ahn is a senior at Parkway Central High School this year and this is her 3rd year as a part of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. Her musical journey began in 1st grade when she was inspired by her friends to pick up the violin and is going into her 11th year playing this year.

In addition to her involvement with the YO, Angel has actively participated in the Community Music School of Webster University’s Young People’s Concert Orchestra, Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra, and the Missouri All-State Orchestra. Beyond her passion for the violin, she enjoys watching tv, playing golf, and exploring new places.

Angel Ahn is extremely thankful to her current teacher, Joo Kim, as well as her orchestra teachers Alicia Bont and Clay McKinney, and past teachers Nancy Daby and Jackie Gross, and her parents, for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout her years of playing the violin.
