Hannah Almos is a senior at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where she is working towards a degree in biological sciences. She is also minoring in chemistry and music performance.

Hannah has played the horn since she was 9 years old, participating in various ensembles including the Illinois All-State band and orchestras in high school. In college, she has also participated in the SIUE wind symphony and university orchestra. This will be her first year with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys drawing, playing video games, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats, Mittens and Willow. Hannah would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive of her musical endeavors as well as her past horn teacher of many years, Barbara Hunter, and her current teacher, Cara Kizer. Hannah is very thankful for having the opportunity to rehearse and perform with so many talented musicians.
