Youth Orchestra
Hudson Freiman
Hudson Freiman is a junior at John Burroughs School. He has been studying viola for seven years, and this is his first season with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has played in the orchestra at John Burroughs School since 7th grade and became principal violist in his sophomore year. He had a solo in the school’s holiday concert and played in the pit orchestra for their production of the musical Into the Woods.
Hudson has studied piano and tap dance, and has performed for the last two years in his school’s dance show. He also enjoys competing on the school’s swim team, and likes to root for the Chicago Cubs at home with his grandmother.
Hudson is very thankful for all the love and support from his parents and family, as well as the excellent guidance from his teacher Christina Banks. He started attending St. Louis Symphony concerts at the age of four, and is excited to join the Symphony community.
