Macey Heimburger

Macey Heimburger is a violist. She has been playing for 7 years, and this will be her second season with the Saint Louis Youth Symphony Orchestra as an alternate. Before playing viola, Macey played piano for 8 years. She is 16 years old and will be attending Parkway Central High School in the fall. In the past Macey has participated in Saint Charles County Youth Orchestra, Alton Symphony Orchestra, and the Missouri All-State Orchestra. Currently, Macey takes private viola lessons with Khrystyne Bunselmeyer, and studies conducting with Shane Williams. She has an interest in conducting as a career and had her conducting debut in 2023 with the Parkway Central Orchestra. Outside of music, Macey works as a lifeguard and enjoys reading, watching soccer, seeing her friends and telling them awful dad jokes.
