Macey Heimburger

Macey Heimburger is a Senior at Parkway Central High School. She began playing viola in 4th grade, and started private lessons shortly after. She is currently studying viola with Khrystyne Bunselmeyer and conducting with Shane Williams, and plans to pursue Viola Performance and Conducting after high school.  

Macey has had many opportunities to use her musical gifts including: 

• Assistant Principal Violist, Alton Symphony Orchestra 

• Principal Violist, St. Charles County Youth Orchestra 

• 2 year member of the Missouri All-State Orchestra 

• Principal Violist, Missouri All-Suburban Orchestra 

• Conductor on multiple pieces for Parkway Central High School orchestras 

• Freelance musician in the metro area 

Outside of music, Macey enjoys learning Mandarin, reading, irritating her mother, and doing everything in her power to not walk the dog.
