Oliver Nice

Oliver is a Sophomore at Jefferson College studying to obtain his Associate of Fine Arts in Music. Oliver has been playing trumpet for 8 years and draws his drive and passion for music from his favorite artist Alison Balsom. He is honored to receive this opportunity to play in his first season with the SLSYO. Oliver thanks the music faculty at Fox High School, Jefferson College, and a special thanks to Mr. Dustin Shrum, for guiding and challenging him along his journey.  

Outside the SLSYO, Oliver performs with the Jefferson College brass ensemble, jazz band, wind ensemble, and jazz combo. He is also the 2024-25 President of the Jefferson College chapter of Nafme. After Jefferson College Oliver plans to double major in performance and education at Missouri State University.
