Doors open 75 minutes in advance of SLSO classical concerts and 60 minutes prior to special events. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. This will allow you time to find parking, visit the Box Office, and to find your seat. Once the concert begins, patrons will be seated at an appropriate break in the program. Please refer to the Late Seating Policy below for details.

Come as you are! You will see a wide variety of attire at SLSO events, and we want you to wear what you feel most comfortable in.

All bags larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″ (i.e. backpacks, suitcases, etc.) will be prohibited from entry into the theatre. See additional theatre policies at Stifel Theatre and Touhill Performing Arts Center for more information. Please note that walk-through metal detectors may be used for security screening upon entry.

Children are encouraged to attend SLSO performances. The recommended minimum for all classical concerts is 5 years of age, while children of all ages are encouraged to attend Specials, Concerts for Kids, Films, and Youth Orchestra concerts. All patrons age 2 and older must have a ticket. Infants and children under 2 years of age may be seated on the lap of an adult at no charge. Child pricing for classical concerts is $15 with a paying adult. Contact the Box Office to order.

Pre-concert Conversations, sponsored by Washington University Physicians, are free events providing insights to the concert program to all ticket holders beginning one hour prior to each classical concert. Program notes are also available online prior to each classical performance.

The resale of SLSO tickets at a price higher than the original purchase price is grounds for forfeiture and cancellation of the ticket. Tickets obtained from sources other than the SLSO Box Office or slso.org may be counterfeit, lost, stolen, or otherwise fraudulently obtained, and if so, are void. We’re excited to perform throughout the community during the expansion and renovation of Powell Hall. Our two primary venues for the 24/25 season are the Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and Stifel Theatre. This will be a homecoming as Stifel Theatre (then known as Kiel Auditorium) was the SLSO’s primary concert venue from 1934–1968.

We want you to love your seats. Our team has identified comparable seating sections at Stifel and Touhill for current subscribers on their order form. You can contact the Box Office for seating recommendations.

We’re working hard to make parking as easy as possible for you. UMSL’s Touhill Performing Arts Center has free and ample parking. Stifel Theatre has a dedicated parking garage, and we have identified easy-to-access supplemental parking for our audiences when there are multiple events going on downtown.

Shuttles: Convenient shuttle service is available for all classical concerts. Avoid traffic and parking and hop aboard the shuttle to arrive in style. Shuttle tickets are $15 per passenger per concert. All passengers must have both a shuttle ticket and concert ticket. For concerts taking place at UMSL’s Touhill Performing Arts Center, the motor coach departs from Plaza Frontenac, and for concerts taking place at Stifel Theatre, the motor coach departs from Plaza Frontenac and St. Louis Community College–Forest Park. Both venues offer a full bar and light snacks at all performances.

Lost and Found policies are set by the venues and per each venue are as follows:

Stifel Theatre:
Items found before, during, or after an event should be turned into the Guest Experience Center near the main ticket lobby entrance. Items will be logged into our Lost & Found system for tracking and management.

All items will be kept for 7 calendar days. After day 7, ID’s and credit cards will be shredded. All other Item(s) will be donated to charity or disposed of at the discretion of management if not claimed. Stifel Theatre management assumes no responsibility for any lost or damaged items.

Guests can check the Guest Experience Center at any point during an event for a lost item. After an event, guests can submit a lost & found form at www.enterprisecenter.com/lostandfound.

Touhill Performing Arts Center:
If you lose an item while attending an event, please inquire with the House Manager for assistance locating the item. If you discover you’ve lost an item after you’ve left the building, please call (314) 516-4100 during regular business hours.

• Accessibility is improved with 20 ADA spots and enhanced security and lighting.
• Donors will continue to receive parking and valet benefits according to giving levels.
• Drop-off/pick-up will be easier with guest drop-off locations and designated areas for rideshares like Uber and Lyft.
• Nearby parking options are numerous in Grand Center.

Most concerts will take place in our expanded and renovated home, Powell Hall at the Jack C. Taylor Music Center. We will still share music throughout the community, including chamber music at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and The Sheldon. Details will be announced at a later date.

Yes, we request a 25% non-refundable deposit within four weeks of your reservation. Deposits may be paid by check or debit/credit card and will be credited toward your total balance.

The remaining balance of your order is due four weeks prior to the concert date. Once the final payment has been received, your tickets may be mailed to you or held at the box office for pick-up prior to the performance. Please note: once final payment is applied to your order, all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Absolutely! Group orders can be adjusted until the time of final payment.

We encourage you to make your reservation as far in advance of the performance possible, in order to keep your group seated together.
