Donor Spotlight: Caravus Connects Through Music and Community

Founded in 1978, Caravus is the largest locally owned employee benefits firm in the St. Louis region. For five decades, it has earned trust by simplifying health coverage and building relationships, and clients consistently affirm that Caravus “takes good care of us.”
This sentiment inspired the company’s name and reflects a resolute commitment to those it serves.
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is proud to celebrate its enduring partnership with Caravus—a collaboration rooted in community, generosity, and a shared passion for music. For the past six years, Caravus has sponsored the fans bearing the face of Music Director Stéphane Denève that are distributed to help guests stay cool at the SLSO’s annual Forest Park Concert, held in honor of Mary Ann Lee. Caravus employees engage with concertgoers, sharing in the joy of the concert while handing out fans to thousands of attendees. Our partnership reflects a mutual love for the St. Louis community and a belief in music’s unique ability to spark connection, elevate spirits, and create unforgettable moments.
“Partnering with the SLSO is an honor we hold with deep appreciation,” said Caravus CEO J.J. Flotken. “The SLSO brings extraordinary artistry and connection to our community, and we are proud to stand behind an institution that helps make St. Louis such a special place to call home.”
Caravus and the SLSO share a dedication to offering our community unique and meaningful experiences that spark positive change, and all at the SLSO are grateful for this partnership.
