Victor Peralez

Victor Peralez is a 20-year-old Music Education Major at McKendree University whose primary instrument is tuba. He started on the baritone in the 5th grade before switching to the tuba in his senior year of high school. He will be continuing his tuba playing for his first season with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.  

Peralez is currently a brass technician at Edwardsville High School and the director of the St. Louis Youth Brass Band. He has also marched a season of Drum & Bugle Corps with the Colt Cadets. Additionally, Peralez has substituted for his private instructor in the St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra to gain some orchestral experience before joining the YO.  

Peralez would like to thank all his past and present directors as well as his family for all their support towards his musical and career goals.
