Bring SLSO musicians into your classroom with free digital learning for every grade level. From full–length concerts to short video modules and online lesson plans, explore a variety of digital resources. All digital programs and resources are available free, on-demand and will get students creating and making connections between orchestral music and the world around them.
Digital Programs

Holocaust Composer Stories
This series of stories connects students in grades 6-12 to composers who were affected by the Holocaust. Each story includes a video of a musical performance wrapped with historical context and strategies for active listening.
Digital Concert: Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra
A performance of Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra introduces each instrument and showcases all that they can do. Additional backstage footage takes students in grades 1-5 behind the scenes to experience how the concert comes together.
Digital Tiny Tunes
Early childhood and kindergarten students dance and make music with SLSO musicians in these 30-minute concerts that blend orchestral music and children’s literature into a fun, interactive learning experience.
Digital Concert: Peter and the Wolf
A performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf takes on new meaning when paired with a virtual adventure to the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka, Missouri, for students in grades 1-5.

Music and technology intersect in this four-part digital concert experience that supports STEAM curriculum and social–emotional learning for students in grades 3-8.
