Caley Micun

Caley Micun is a clarinetist currently pursuing a degree in Music Performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she studies under the tutelage of Dr. Kelly Austermann.  

Before transferring to SIUE, Micun studied at Xavier University, where she performed as Principal Clarinet of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. At SIUE, she continues to hold leadership roles, currently serving as Principal Clarinet of the Wind Symphony and Second Clarinet in the University Orchestra. This season marks her debut with the Youth Orchestra.  

Outside of rehearsals and performances, Micun enjoys bible studying, posting music covers on social media (@caleyentology), and keeping up with the world of competitive figure skating.
