Felix Zhang

Felix Zhang is 16 and a junior at Ladue High School. He has been playing clarinet for 6 years and currently studies with Kelly Austermann. He was the principal clarinetist of the CMS’s YPSO and the Missouri All State Orchestra.  

Beyond music, Zhang enjoys speech and debate, working out, and playing badminton and chess. Zhang would like to thank his current and past teachers, Kelly Austermann and Paul Varley, as well as his band director, Aaron Lehde. He’s eternally grateful to his parents and sister for their unwavering support in his musical endeavors.
