Tarini Karnati

Tarini, age 16, is a senior at Parkway Central High School. This is her first season in the St.Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and her ninth year playing viola.

Tarini has been a member of Missouri’s All State orchestra for two years and was the principal violist of All Suburban for two years. She won a competitive scholarship through Missouri Federation of Music Clubs and leads the orchestra for her youth organization. Aside from the viola, Tarini enjoys discovering new food, traveling, and watching Indian movies.

She would like to thank her parents, Mr. Brad Kay, Ms. Kirby Kay, Mr. McKinney, and Mrs. Bont for supporting and encouraging her along her musical journey.
