Portrait of Noah Lipe

Youth Orchestra

Noah Lipe

Alternate
John Burroughs School

Noah Lipe is 14 years old and has played the cello for six years. He is a freshman at John Burroughs School. This is Noah’s first year as an alternate with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. Noah has played with the Webster Community Music School’s Young People’s Concert Orchestra and the Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra. He also plays in the John Burroughs High School Orchestra. Along with playing the cello, Noah enjoys running, reading, baking, gardening, rehabilitating house plants, and spending time with his dogs Lilly, Yaddi, and Teddy.

Noah would like to thank many people for supporting his musical journey in the past six years, including Mrs. Fariga Drayton-Conway for teaching him to love cello; Ms. Sarah Klevorn for making orchestra so much fun; Mr. Robert Carter for always bringing smiles to the orchestra room; Mr. Patrick Jackson for believing in him; his parents for leading the way; and mostly, Mr. Ken Kulosa for his outstanding instruction.
