Jack Martin

Jack Martin is a senior at Timberland High School and has been playing the clarinet for six years. This will be his first season with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. He currently takes lessons with Katheryn Fenske. Martin has been a part of the Missouri All-State band, the St. Louis District 5 Honor Band, and the Music for All Honor of America Band (MFA HBOA). He has also participated in the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s Solo and Ensemble Festival, receiving a gold medal this past year. 

Outside of playing clarinet, Martin loves to listen to music and play electric guitar with his friends. His favorite music experience has been participating in MFA’s HBOA hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Martin would like to thank his father and private teacher for pushing him to be a greater version of himself even if he felt unmotivated to do so.
