Bella Huebsch

Bella Huebsch is a Sophomore at Clayton High School and is excited to begin her first season with the St. Louis Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has been playing viola since fifth grade and has never looked back since. When Huebsch planned on quitting after a year of playing violin, her elementary orchestra teacher encouraged her to keep going. After deciding to continue music, Huebsch chose the viola for its deep C string and the warm, rich tone of the instrument. Apart from the YO, Huebsch also participates in her school’s honor orchestra. 

Besides music, Huebsch enjoys Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and Rowing. Huebsch would like to thank her teacher Christine Banks for always pushing her and making her the musician she is today. She would also like to thank Monica Holy for encouraging her to continue to play music and her orchestra director Daniel Henderson. Lastly, Huebsch would also like to thank her grandfather and family members for helping her pursue music.
