Anna Ko
Anna Ko is sixteen years old and a junior at Mary Institute and Country Day School. Her interest in music began in third grade when she initially picked up the violin before switching to viola under teacher Eliana Haig. Currently, she studies viola with Professor Joanna Mendoza.
After participating in the Young People’s Concert Orchestra of Webster University’s Community Music School as principal of the viola section and a member of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra in previous years, Ko is excited to play in Powell Hall for another season.
Ko thanks and is grateful to her teacher Joanna Mendoza for the guidance she has given throughout the years, as well as Eliana Haig for supporting her in the early years of her musical journey.
