Emily Roberts

Emily Roberts is a sophomore at Westminster Christian Academy, where she is a member of the school orchestra. She began studying violin at age 2 with Eva Robinson, and currently studies with Anne Branch. Roberts has been a member of the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra (SCCYO) for several years, most recently as concertmaster of the SCCYO Symphony. She is the 2026 3rd-place award winner in the Senior Division Mike Russo Concerto Competition. Roberts recently performed in masterclasses with Elisabeth Adkins at Texas Christian University and Scott Tixier at the University of North Texas. 

Roberts attended the Credo National String Intensive in Chicago in 2025 and Credo St. Louis in 2026. She is a 2026 Missouri All-State Orchestra member and is a second-generation St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra member. She enjoys playing often for her church and has traveled with her school orchestra to play concerts in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic. 

In addition to playing the violin, Roberts enjoys being on stage participating in musical theatre productions. She loves spending time with friends, watching movies, and doting on her golden retriever, Percy. Roberts is blessed to have parents and grandparents who support and encourage her music education. Above all, she gives thanks to God and seeks to glorify Him in all her endeavors.
