Anna Ko
Anna Ko is 14 years old and now a rising freshman at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS). She previously played the piano before switching to viola.
During her elementary years, Anna participated in many school programs to further cultivate her skills, and eventually joined the Young People’s Concert Orchestra at the Community Music School of Webster University, where she was the principal of the viola section. This will now be her first season at the SLSYO.
Anna sincerely appreciates Professor Mendoza, her current teacher, for providing steadfast support and advice throughout the later years of her musical journey, as well as former teacher Eliana Haig, and conductor Dr. Jo Nardolillo.
