Anderson Dai
Anderson (Andy) Dai is a senior at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, and this is his first season with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has loved music since he was a child, playing the violin for 7 years and the piano for 10 years. During his musical career, he has also had the privilege of playing with the Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra at Webster University’s Community Music School, the St. Louis All Suburban Orchestra, and the Missouri All State Orchestra. Andy would like to thank his parents, his friends, and especially his teacher, SLSO violinist Xiaoxiao Qiang, for their guidance and support throughout his journey with music.
Outside of music, Andy hopes to pursue a career in engineering and loves playing soccer, volunteering, watching F1, and eating Big Macs.
